Guidelines for Worshiping In-Person

Effective April 3, 2022

These guidelines have been approved by the Session. Please be mindful of creating an atmosphere where individuals feel comfortable wearing a mask if they so choose.

Masks are optional in the building. Groups and/or individuals may choose to mask at any time.

  • Anyone who feels ill or has a temperature over 100.4 degrees should not enter the building.
  • Please use hand sanitizer and wash your hands regularly while in the building.
  • In the sanctuary, please maintain safe physical distance (3 feet) from your pew neighbors unless you are from the same household.
  • Offering plates are available at the doors.
  • During passing of the peace, please wave or give a friendly gesture to each other and refrain from shaking hands or hugging.
  • Communion will continue to be provided in individual portions.
  • Church-wide fellowship and food events in the Fellowship Hall are permitted with approval by the Session.
  • Depending on the circumstances, masks may be required for a specific activity.
  • Worship will continue to be provided on Zoom if you would like to join us from home. Zoom Worship begins at 10:00 am on Sundays and is accessible at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89602052076
  • If you or someone in your family should test positive for COVID-19 after attending worship, please contact Pastor Carolynn immediately at 785-764-4270 so we will be able to contact everyone who attended worship that day.

Please be aware these Guidelines may change at any time.
